Today my mother arrived home from work with
the prettiest bag with
the best contents possible, all ready for me. My mother has the hook-up, having a friend who is Japanese who she struck a deal with while ago...so whenever her friend returns home from Japan, she brings pop-teen magazine along with her. I blogged about Popteen back when I was fresh from returning from Japan
HERE . It is an adorable and aesthetically pleasing, quintessentially Japanese magazine.
The models are just gorgeous, despite them being rather fake-looking, due to Japan's obsession with perfection.
The pages are filled with cute peace sign poses and crazy Japanese fashion, if you can get your hands on it- i recommend getting it! The layouts are so garnished, full of little cartoon hearts and sparkles. So great to look at.
This issue will bring me hours of amusement...despite me being unable to read Japanese.

did it have advertisements for diet pills and breast enchantments? i freaked out when i saw them on the back pages of these japanese magazine .. :S
haha yes! They are mental!! anorexia is well and alive in Japan evidently. The before shots for the diet pills- the girls weigh literally 45kg! The after shot, they weigh 36kg. its just disgusting. we think our society is fucked up, poor japanese teens!
